Grounding Follows Outage at Microsoft Networks

Frontier Airlines experienced a brief grounding of all flights on Thursday due to a significant outage in Microsoft networks. The outage also impacted other major US airlines, including Delta, United, and American Airlines, resulting in widespread flight delays and cancellations.

According to flight tracker FlightAware, Frontier canceled 147 flights and delayed 212 others as a direct result of the network outage. Allegiant Airlines also reported 45 delayed flights. The outage, which occurred in the central United States region, has since been resolved, according to Microsoft.
